Privacy Notice

This notice explains what the BioSci Agronomic Blend Advisor collects, why it is collected, and how long it is kept.

What we collect

  • Account information: name, email address, self-declared role (grower, PCA/CCA, agronomist, dealer).
  • Agronomic records you enter or upload: growers, farms, fields, crop seasons, yield goals, fertility programs and management context.
  • Laboratory data: soil, irrigation water and plant tissue results, including lab name, report number, sample date, extraction/analytical method, and uploaded report files.
  • Questions you ask the Agronomic Advisor and any review requests you submit.

How we use it

Your data is used to produce the agronomic assessment, nutrient strategy, product formulation and liquid blend plan for your fields, and to support review by our lead agronomist when a case is escalated or you ask for a professional review. Aggregated, de-identified information may be used to improve interpretation thresholds and crop coverage.

We do not sell your data, and we do not share field-level records with other customers or fertilizer dealers unless you request a custom blend or mix ticket and choose to send it.

Who can see your data

Access is enforced at the database level. By default your records are visible only to your account. Our lead agronomist holds an administrator role and can read customer agronomic records in order to review escalated cases and issue corrections. Ordinary users cannot see other accounts' data.

AI processing

The Agronomic Advisor sends the relevant field context (lab values, crop stage, assessment output) to a third-party AI model to generate an explanation. The AI explains and educates; it does not determine the recommendation. Do not enter information you would not want processed by a third-party model.

Retention

Agronomic and laboratory records are retained for the life of your account so that multi-season trends and program credit can be calculated. Uploaded lab report files are retained with their associated test record. You may request deletion of a grower, farm, field or your entire account at any time.

Your choices

  • Request a copy of the data associated with your account.
  • Correct or delete records you have entered.
  • Request account closure and deletion of associated agronomic data.
