Data Security & Privacy Addendum

You retain ownership of all data you enter or upload, including grower, farm and field records, field boundaries, soil, irrigation water and plant tissue analyses, fertility programs and yield records. BioSci claims no ownership of your farm data and does not sell it.

BioSci uses your data solely to operate the application for you: to produce agronomic assessments, nutrient strategies, product formulations and liquid blend plans, to prepare a custom blend or mix ticket when you request one, and to provide support. Aggregated, de-identified information may be used to improve interpretation thresholds and crop coverage.

BioSci agronomists will access your grower data only to support or review a recommendation when you request it — for example when you submit a challenge, ask for a professional review, or open a support case. Access is limited to the records needed for that request. BioSci does not browse customer data outside a user-initiated request, and does not share field-level records with other customers or fertilizer dealers.

Traffic is served over HTTPS/TLS and data is encrypted at rest by the managed database platform. Access is enforced at the database level so that your records are visible only to your account and to authorized BioSci review access as described in Section 3. Uploaded lab report files are stored in access-controlled storage tied to your account. Server credentials are held as server-side secrets and are never exposed to the browser.

This addendum describes BioSci's practices and does not assert any third-party security certification or audit outcome.

The Agronomic Advisor sends the relevant field context to a third-party AI model in order to explain a determination. The AI is interpretive only: it cannot write to your records or change a recommendation. Every determination is produced by the agronomic engine.

Your agronomic and laboratory records are retained for the life of your account so that multi-season trends and program credit can be calculated. Uploaded lab report files are retained with their associated test record. Data is deleted on request or following account closure.

• You may request an export of the data associated with your account at any time.
• You may correct or delete any grower, farm, field, lab record or program you have entered.
• You may request closure of your account and deletion of the associated agronomic data. Deletion requests are honored except where a record must be retained to complete a blend order you have placed.
